Bruno Mars is in a rarified air of his own when it comes to hit making singles.
On Friday (May 21), the Recording Industry Association of America revealed the other half of Silk Sonic had made history, becoming the first artist ever to achieve 5 diamond-certified singles. Bruno was quick to take in the moment, thanking fans for their support.

Of the five singles for Bruno to be certified, “Just The Way You Are” has been certified 12x platinum, “Uptown Funk!” and “When I Was Your Man” are certified 11x platinum and “That’s What I Like” and “Grenade” are both 10x platinum.

The record-breaking news for Bruno was amplified when his “Leave The Door Open” collaboration with Anderson .Paak returned to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart on Wednesday (May 19). To date, the video has been viewed more than 200 million times as fans continue to wait for the duo to release the full album.
