Doggie Diamonds, one of the most well known podcasters in the industry, has made his way back to the studio as a producer. Recently, he unveiled his single, “The Workout Anthem,” which has made its way to the playlists of music lovers and gym heads alike. The track is a perfect combination of sampling, motivation, and Doggie Diamonds’ unique sound.
Since the young age of 17, Doggie Diamonds has stayed true to his roots and love for the culture. He’s had the opportunity to work with some of the most iconic artists in the industry, including the one and only Biggie Smalls, Lil Kim, Junior Mafia, and more! When asked what his most memorable moment is about that time period, Doggie Diamonds stated, “Everybody was poor and trying to find their way. It was very local. It was the hood. It was a dream. When Biggie said it was all a dream, it really was.”
During the interview, Doggie Diamonds made it very clear he is an individual who stays true to himself and his art. He expressed, “I was doing it before I knew I could make money. I wanted to add on and contribute to it without even knowing I could make money. I was doing it homeless and broke; just doing it for love.”
According to Doggie Diamonds, he has a love/hate relationship with music. The creation process brings him joy and fulfillment. However, the process following the development of music is his least favorite aspect. He explained, “Now I can just put out what I want, when I want, where I want. I’m gonna leave my mark as a producer in this culture. I don’t drink. I don’t smoke. I just quiet the noise in my head. When people are going through something, they tend to abuse something. Me? Creating definitely helps me. I’m always in the gym working out and listening to other people’s music. Why not listen to mine?”
Throughout the duration of his career, Doggie Diamonds has blossomed into a multi-faceted professional within the entertainment business. His podcast is available on several platforms such as, YouTube, Patreon, Apple Podcast, and Spotify, to name a few. Since 2016, he has been sharing unfiltered views and interviews with prominent guests including Charlamagne The God, Dave East, Prodigy, Peedi Crakk, Erick Sermon, and more.
With so many unforgettable moments to choose from, Doggie Diamonds’ most memorable interview was with Chris Gotti. “I like people who are able to talk about the culture from experience. People love to regurgitate what they hear. But this man actually knows the CEO, the COO, and the janitor. He was able to say what he knows.”
Anyone who watches Doggie Diamonds “No Filter” Podcast, can realize immediately the platform is about the music, history, and culture. He brings an imperative dynamic to podcasts. In many instances, music is placed on the back burner while the latest gossip takes precedence. Doggie Diamonds has never strayed from his roots. He expressed the importance of talking about these topics to our youth. “What you’ve done in the culture is far more important than what you’ve done personally,” he said.
As Doggie Diamonds continues to elevate to new heights with his one of a kind podcast and leave his mark as a prominent producer, he will undoubtedly embed his footprints within the industry for generations to follow.
