In promotion of Teflon’s forthcoming sophomore LP, 2 Sides To Every Story, the Brooklyn native delivers a lyrically raw banger, “It Is What It Is.” The track features the always-hype Lil Fame on the hook as well as equally stunning and boisterous production courtesy of Jazimoto. Backed by her piano-laced, thumping instrumental, Teflon reflects on his life, through the ups and downs, and how he’s stayed true to himself.
2 Sides to Every Story is due out June 30th and boasts production by Jazimoto and DJ Premier, who split production duties down the middle. Digital pre-orders are available now, with vinyl pre-orders set to be announced in time for the digital release date via 420 Music in partnership with Coalmine Records.
