Long Island, NY emcee AWOL Da Mindwriter has got his “Golden Gun.” New single (out now via 7eMeraldsMedia) is produced by August Fanon (Mach Hommy, Armand Hammer) and is the first leak from their forthcoming collaborative project. Over an organ and drum break background the emcee spits bars about what makes him different than other people who decide to get into the game. Speaking of game, the track title continues AWOL’s nod to the 90’s gaming systems he loves, this time inspired by Sega’s Golden Gun (aka China’s House Of The Dead).
