Pretty Bulli and Kidd Called Quest return with new single “Break” this morning. Over a particularly soulful backdrop from Kidd, Bulli drops perhaps her most personal lyrics. Speaking on the track the emcee said “I’m not typically this transparent and vulnerable in my music, but I’m in a space in life where it feels comfortable to do so. I’ve had many days where I wanted to give up, quit or hide. Fast forward to the present day- I’m glad I didn’t break.”
