D.O.V returns with “Back From The Dead,” featuring Admiral Naughtz. Produced by Cortez

Toronto’s D.O.V of Hella Treez returns with D.O.V Is GOD, a straight boom-bap statement built for real heads. Cortez of 4Sound Studios handles all production, mixing, and mastering. He loads the album with dusty drums, dark samples, and raw knock.

Throughout the project, D.O.V raps with purpose and pressure. He talks survival, resurrection, and staying solid when the lights fade. As a result, every track feels focused and hungry. The beats stay grim, and the bars stay sharp.

One of the album’s hardest cuts, “Back From The Dead,” features Admiral Naughtz. Cortez drives the track with neck-snapping drums and eerie loops. Meanwhile, the visuals keep the same energy. DJ Chino420 directs the video, and Cura Pictures edits it with a cold, stripped feel.

The video moves between a graveyard and Toronto’s concrete blocks. As a result, the rebirth theme feels earned, not forced. Night shots and TTC subway trains cutting through the dark push the mood even further.

Throughout the album, the guest list stays underground and battle-tested. Ruste Juxx brings Brooklyn pressure. Admiral Naughtz and Che Uno trade sharp verses. Gambit Ramsay represents Hella Treez with grit. Don Sazón and Thunny Brown add weight and presence. Finally, DJ Grouch and DJ Flash of Justus League seal it with real scratch work.

D.O.V Is GOD is both proclamation and rebirth a dark sermon of persistence, dominance, and hip hop resurrection. Released Halloween 2025, this is not just an album to be played, but a ritual to be summoned.
