Body Bag Ben & FastLife – BriKK

Body Bag Ben & FastLife team up for a new collaborative single and video, “BriKK,” that sounds and feels like a hazy summer afternoon blended with drugged-out psychedelia.

In addition to BBB’s own smoked-out production, the track is anchored by vivid lyricism from him and FastLife, as the two prove to be a force together on the mic. There’s also the slick flip of Drake’s “Tuscan Leather” that serves as the basis for the video as well. That is to say, it’s easy to get lost in the trippy editing work from visual mastermind Meta Megatron, who mixes footage from the Humboldt Park riots in Chicago with other fitting clips from the 1970s and ‘80s.

While “BriKK” is a loose single and not affiliated with a larger body of work, you can hear more from BBB and FastLife on the track “Duck SZN.” The snarling banger from last year’s No Politics collab LP from FastLife & Madhattan which was produced by BBB.
