The track, which also features a verse from Pittsburgh’s FamRoss is anchored by an icy boom-bap instrumental (provided by Germany’s Fiqqouw). The result is authentic east coast lyricism and grit that any golden age fan can nod their head to.

“Speed Bag Steez” appears on the newly released fully collaborative Playbook EP, which conveys a sport theme to each track title. In addition to FamRoss’s two appearances on the project, Toronto’s masked-man New Villain also adds a verse.
