DJ Concept Unleashes the Instrumentals for His ‘Ghetto Concepts’ Collab LP (Now Streaming)

Long Island sound designer, DJ Concept unveils the instrumental offering for Ghetto Concepts, his collaborative LP with The Bay State spitter, Ghetto, of St Da Squad fame (Termanology, Ea$y Money, Reks, DJ Deadeye). At just 18 minutes in length, Concept succeeds in showcasing the depth of his production skills, which sound just as sublime in the instrumental form as they do laced with Ghetto’s chest-thumping flows.

Ghetto Concepts takes the listener on a journey through the depths of rap’s grittier sound, punctuated by occasional bright moments that create a roller coaster of sonic treats. From the truimphantly menacing horns heard throughout the project’s self titled heater,  the pulsating drums and hypnotic chops heard on “Drop That Sh*t,” to the melodic synths that embody “My Reality,” Concept reveals the various layers and textures that make his sound equally as unique as they are addictive.

From his Mediations instrumental series, his collaborative releases with the likes of Planet Asia, Kaleber, Ghetto and others, his notable remixes for the likes of Eto, Tha God Fahim, Rome Clientel and more, as well as his countless instrumental offerings, Concept once again demonstrates why he is a formidable presence in today’s hip-hop landscape. The eight track instrumental offering is available now through all major digital retailers and streaming platforms via Crisis Center Collective.
