New single
Ghost Gunfrom the pairing of Inglewood, CA emcee General Back Pain and Chi-town producer Onaje Jordan is out now. Featuring an appearance from fellow Hometeam crew member, Lupus Dei the deceptively soulful track boasts some especially grimy word-play from the two emcees who invoke the spirit of 96 Ghostface Killah and Beanie Sigel throughout.

This is the first single from Wet Work, the collaborative project which also drops digitally today (with physical editions to drop via Respect Due Records shortly thereafter).
Speaking on the link-up with Back Pain, Jordan remarked
it’s like working with family, when people are part of the same movement like Hometeam the synergy is evident. My direction for feeding beats to Back Pain is the same as any beat I make and that is, would this make RZA proud?
Back Pain commented on the project
Wet Work is me getting back to the basics in terms of my writing style. As you listen and read the track names, you will realize there is a clear theme here. I call it an Adult Contemporary Gangsta album. OJ supplied a beautiful soundscape, and I was able to get my grown man on.
Both artists have recently released other projects via Respect Due including General Back Pain album with Body Bag Ben entitled Holy Hands II and Onaje Jordan’s release with Hometeam’s other member Killy Shoot entitled Heavy Math (more info on those at link below).
