Jack Harlow’s DJ Indicted For Murder Following Louisville Nightclub Shooting

Jack Harlow’s producer and DJ, Ronnie Tyshon O’Bannon, has reportedly been indicted for the fatal shooting of 37-year-old bartender Kasmira Nash at a Louisville, Kentucky nightclub earlier this month.

According to WLKY, O’Bannon was formally charged on Tuesday (May 11) but has yet to be booked into the Louisville Metro Corrections. Although O’Bannon initially had a warrant out of his arrest, the Courier Journal reports he’s turned himself in and has a bond set at $500,000.

Jack Harlow was in his hometown of Louisville celebrating the annual Kentucky Derby at Vibes Restaurant and Ultra Lounge on May 1 when an altercation broke out. A woman — presumably Nash — and at least one man started arguing when suddenly shots rang out. As everyone scrambled for the door, Harlow was filmed fleeing the scene.

At the time, police said one woman had died while another man was rushed to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Now, it’s clear that woman was Kasmira Nash.

The “WHAT’S POPPIN” rapper had attended the Kentucky Derby earlier that day and posted several Instagram photos of himself to mark the occasion. He has yet to address the incident on social media. In fact, he hasn’t posted since.

O’Bannon, better known as Ronnie Lucciano, has been charged with murder and tampering with physical evidence, but attorney Rob Eggert believes he’ll be found innocent.

“Despite the negative portrayal on social media, Ronnie O’Bannon is an excellent person,” Eggert said, noting O’Bannon is a graduate of Male High School and the University of Louisville. “He has worked for years with Jack Harlow and is a prominent DJ in his own right. I’m confident he’ll be exonerated at trial.”

O’Bannon’s arraignment is scheduled for May 17 at 3:30 p.m. local time.
