Jamil “Gully TV” Lindsey is a journalist, author ,film director & designer from Erie Pennsylvania. Jamil started Gully Tv Dvd in Atlanta Ga. in 2005 after severing ties with Vickie Stringer’s Triple Crown Publications where he served as Ms. Stringer’s personal ghostwriter. Gully Tv instantly earned a reputation as one of urban media’s first R-rated hip-hop platform’s due to it’s thoroughly detailed coverage of the now infamous “lovers quarrel” between Atlanta Mc Gucci Mane & labelmate/mistress “Mac Breezy” which ended up being one of Youtube’s early viral hip-hop videos. Jamil and Gully TV Media transitioned to the worldwide web in 2007 as gullytv.com where Jamil filmed a series of underground music videos with Harlem MC Head Ice, Lord Superb (wu-tang clan), Unkasa (Diplomats) & Omillio Sparks of State Property Who in 2009 was the subject of Gully Tv’s first Documentary “Let The Sparks Fly”. After briefly managing New Jersey battle rapper Shotgun Suge in 2012 Jamil began to put more emphasis on the online branding of Gully TV Media. A decision was made to implement Sports coverage along with fashion news & trends. Gully Tv’s Unique brand of “Global Urban” media began to captivate the attention of the entertainment business due to a plethora of celebrity interviews from a-list talent like actors Jason Weaver & Khai Alaska. Comedians Kevin Hart & Talent. NBA Superstars Steve Francis & Rafer “Skip 2 my lou” Alston. Fashion Icons Willie Esco, Jeff Hamilton, and Danny Shaw. Former Mayor of Detroit Kwame Kilpatrick , Mitchy Slick, Redman, Scarface, Rome Streetz, Cappadonna, Akon, Jazzy Pha, Tragedy Khadafi, Juelz Santana, Benny The Butcher, Conway, Planet Asia, Royce Da 5-9, Black Rob, Spice-1, Bun B, MystikaL, Shyheim, 2-time Heavyweight Champion Shannon Briggs & The Real Rick Ross just to be brief. Jamil has appeared in The New York Times, Hip-Hop weekly, Straight Stuntin, The Source, and Validated magazines. He’s been mentioned in a book about the murder of Biggie Smalls and been profiled on The Devin Wade Show, Lord Jamar’s God cast, and Yukmouth’s Smokealot Radio with Westcoast legend Spice-1 To Date Gully Tv has published over 2000 entertainment & sports vlogs online tallying a whopping 54 million views worldwide. In 2019 Jamil Filmed, Directed, and Edited one of the most CRITICALLY ACCALIMED STREET DOCUMENTARIES IN HISTORY- TITLED “HAITIAN JACK SPEAKS”. Today Jamil spends his time between Atlanta Ga & Los Angeles where he manages his latest business venture DRIBBLEGAWD SPORTSWEAR.
