With a shared history going back to kindergarten, life-long friends / hip-hop fiends North$ide and The Supervisor have been active participants in the Boston music scene since the golden 90’s era. “Step Back” is taken from their newly released debut EP as The Hairline Brothers entitled Restoration Process.
Speaking on the formation of HLB, The Supervisor said “we’ve been making music together since we started rappin’ and he (North$ide Dro) produced on most of my solo projects. We’re bringing our own brand of ignorance with lyrics and delivery that only comes after years of practice.”
The Restoration Process comes on the heels of The Supervisor’s PBS project (with Dephrase) and breakout single “CASH.UP.FRONT” also with King Author (Produced by Loman) as well as Dro’s first full-length album as a solo artist, Revenue.
