Dillon Celebrates His Album Release With Visuals for ”Uncut Gems” (prod. by Diamond D)

It’s a party in Dillon’s dope new video for “Uncut Gems,” and the ATL-based rapper has every reason to celebrate. The gifted emcee recently dropped his latest album, Uncut Gems, that finds him teaming up with none other than Diamond D.

The video was directed by Tommy Nova, who captured on-location footage of Dillon, Diamond D, and their crew at both Patchwork Studio and the Reverb Hotel’s rooftop in downtown Atlanta. But it’s more than just a commemoration of the album’s release, because Nova also injected the visuals with clever edits and effects to really bring it home.

“Uncut Gems,” both musically and visually, is also the best way to get familiar with this project. As Dillon says himself at the start of the track:

“To pick it back up where we left off/ The prophet and the apprentice return.”

– Dillon

They have indeed—and they’ve also delivered one of the year’s best albums so far.
