Double A.B. & Dub Sonata return with a Bronze Nazareth Remix of “Some Bullsh!t” featuring Scram Jones and the late great Sean Price. The veteran lyricists trade punchlines over the acclaimed Detroit producer’s sparse, soulful soundscape, reinvigorating the classic track with updated oomph.
It’s the first single from the duo’s upcoming “Alternate Media” project of remixes and outtakes from their joint album Media Shower, which featured collaborations with Roc Marciano, Evidence, Cannibal Ox, Rhymefest and more. Over a decade after its initial release, the album is now available on special edition 2xLP vinyl for the first time ever and includes five previously unreleased “Alternate Media” tracks on side D, including Bronze’s take on “Some Bullsh!t” and other remixes by Blockhead, Maitre D, Kount Fif and Opto.
