NY fan favorite losLauren 718 announces the release of his new project ‘Success Is Not for the Lazy: More Jabs’ in which he delivers just that. The 8-track project (with 2 bonus tracks) comes equipped with a star-studded cast including Adrian “A.D.” Dickey, Johnny Doc, Dane’sha Bullard, The Kid Kleo, and Ya Jua. Executive produced by losLauren 718 ‘More Jabs’ also features guest production by Serious Beats, Deejay Quality, Asiah Dio, Rashaad “Dolv” Kennedy, Fendi Pendergrass, and Deyjan Beats. 

The project kicks off with ‘More Jabs’ the intro which defines the premise and mindset of losLauren 718; to serve jabs before he unleashes his forthcoming album, set to heat up summer with uppercuts and 1st round knockouts.

In ‘The Appetizer 3’ the Bronx native drops his signature mantra’s and mottos that leave a lasting impression. The track exudes Rocky aesthetics as losLauren718 proclaims he lives what he speaks and never fakes the funk. He’s not here for the beef, stress, or grief. He has a natural knack for weaving together a strong sense of empowerment with thought provoking bars. Although his emotive performance might come across intimidating to some, for others it is held in high regards to motivate.

Latin vibes sway in and out of “Choose” as does the classic hook “you can get with this or you can get with that” (Black Sheep). The track is about starting over, back from the bottom but this go around losLauren718 is thinking and moving differently. He touches on small circles and eliminating dead weight.

The tempo slows down in “What Can I Do” and is steered by smooth, hair-raising vocals. When the streets are still the streets and the blocks are still the blocks, and homes are still toxic, what can you do? For losLauren 718 all he can do is keep breathing. Gentle keys and basslines encircle his captivating blend of lyricism and storytelling. This is a relatable track and one for the repeat button.

To lighten the mood a comedic skit “Uncle Cool J” is thrown into the mix with “Birthday Cake” to follow. Unc laughs about being called soft because as a teenager he was trying to pull up on girls, but at that age that’s what you’re supposed to do according to unc. It molds a youngin’ into a man ready to indulge in women like icing on a birthday cake. losLauren718 shows off his sensual side and is ready to serve desert without plates. His R&B flow entices while his bedroom, adult antics are sure to stimulate all five senses.

The outro ‘More Jabs’ is a swift reminder to fans, listeners, and audiences that losLauren 718 is #allergictofailure. His catchphrase, if you will, has now enveloped into a brand, a movement, as well as a lifestyle.  He is an honest hustler as noted in ‘Login” (bonus track). “I’m a hustler I don’t do robbin…’ trying to get sexy for the summer so I’m joggin…’ fact over fiction no capping no flodging.
