LOS ANGELES—October 19, 2026—Amazon Music today announced that GRAMMY-nominated recording artist Quavo will tip off season two of “Amazon Music presents: In the Paint,” the performance series pairing NBA action with must-see musical performances.
Quavo’s performance will air Friday, October 23, during NBA Nightcap, the NBA on Prime postgame show, following Prime Video’s exclusive opening night doubleheader. The reigning World Champion New York Knicks face the Boston Celtics at 7 p.m. ET, followed by the Houston Rockets taking on the Western Conference Champion San Antonio Spurs in Austin at 9:30 p.m. ET.
During the broadcast, Quavo will perform “HAAVIN,” from his new album, QRÖMELIFE. The track, which debuted as the opening soundtrack to Pharrell Williams’ Louis Vuitton Spring-Summer 2027 Men’s Show, will also be featured in the season-long NBA on Prime marketing campaign. Immediately following the performance, fans can head to the Amazon Music app to watch an exclusive performance of “Hit-A-Lik,” available only on Amazon Music.
The appearance arrives alongside the release of QRÖMELIFE, Quavo’s highly anticipated new album executive produced by Pharrell Williams. The 14-track project brings together an all-star cast of collaborators including Offset, A$AP Rocky, Future, Lil Baby, Tyler, The Creator, Yung Miami, Justin Timberlake, and T.I. Developed over more than a year and a half, with sessions spanning Paris and Miami, the album brings the different dimensions of Quavo’s artistry into sharper focus, channeling the versatility he has displayed throughout his career into a body of work that feels distinctly his own. “In the Paint” brings basketball and music together by reimagining artists’ most essential songs in a cinematic, courtside setting. The series debuted during NBA on Prime broadcasts last season before expanding to WNBA on Prime, with each installment featuring one performance during the broadcast and a second available exclusively in the Amazon Music app. Returning for its second season, the series builds on standout performances from Clipse, Nas, YG, TAEMIN, BigXthaPlug, Charlie Puth, Kehlani, Weezer, LE SSERAFIM, and Tinashe.
